Here is a link to the step by step directions to make this delicious recipe. I will say that the potatoes you use do make a flavor and texture difference the Yukon Golds work best. Also, as you use the immersion blender, take your time, this will really give the soup a creamy, smooth flavor and texture. This potato soup was a real treat during this past cold, blustery weekend. Simple comfort food at its best.
